    This area works accompanying social and working inclusion of people living a situation of exclusion or at risk of it.
    It promotes personal inclusion processes that improve quality of life and autonomy degree

    It is aimed at young immigrants (over 18 years old) that start their emancipation process, coming from the under aged protection services of the Council and still in need of some educational accompaniment so they can finish their social and working inclusion

  • Children and teenagers

    This is a resource promoted by the City Council of BaraKaldo and managed by Asociación Goiztiri Elkartea since 2001-2002 school year.
    Its main goal is to help students from ESO and Primary school to achieve the objectives of their educational stage and to prevent truancy

    It promotes accompaniment of families and groups in a risk of exclusion, rejected by the market and without any possiblity to get to the housing public service, enabling them to get a respectable house

JESUS CASTANEDO, PREMIO BARAKALDO SOLIDARIO ANTONIO MIRANDA 2015

El pasado 6 de noviembre, el jurado que decide el premio Barakaldo Solidario Antonio Miranda daba a conocer, mediante nota de prensa, el nombre de la persona merecedora de dicho galardón: Jesús Castanedo Torre, fundador y actual gerente de la Asociación Goiztiri. Una vida dedicada a crear iniciativas de ayuda a los más desfavorecidos le ha hecho merecedor de este reconocimiento.

 

La ceremonia de entrega se celebró el 9 de noviembre en el Centro Cívico Clara Campoamor de Barakaldo. Amistades, autoridades y un gran número de vecinos y vecinas de la localidad no quisieron perderse este momento tan emotivo tanto para a nuestro gerente y compañero, como para todas las personas que formamos parte de esta entidad.

Fundación Miranda

El Premio Barakaldo Solidario D. Antonio Miranda, que este año cumple su octava edición, fue constituido en el año 2008 por la Fundación Miranda en colaboración con el Ayuntamiento de Barakaldo. El premio reconoce públicamente a aquellas instituciones, asociaciones, entidades privadas o personas físicas que destaquen por la realización desinteresada de labores asistenciales y, en general, por su entrega al prójimo, tanto en el término de Barakaldo como fuera de él.
